He has Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation from Institute of Tax Administration. He is a certified tax consultant with Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and certified accountant (CPA) with National Board of Accountant and Auditors. Leo has 11 years of public practice experience, He worked with INNOVEX Consulting and Ernst and Young (EY) as Auditor and Tax Consultant before he joined Population Services International (PSI) Tanzania as the head of finance department.

He has a broad experience in auditing a range of sectors mostly in non government organisation, such as UNHCR Funded Projects (NGO), Maryland Global Initiative funded by University of Maryland, (NGO), Tanzania Red cross Society (Malaria Project – Funded by USAID, Nomad Tanzania Limited, FIFA Central Review (Tanzania Football Federation) funded by FIFA, CARE International Tanzania, REPOA (Funded by various donors).
His experience goes further to other sectors such as construction, trading, manufacturing, hospitality, oil and gas and some government agencies. At AFRIQ, Rutta performs various tax related services such as tax health checks, tax compliance services and tax planning and advisory services.

Japhet, has 10 years of public practice experience, He worked with Ernst and Young (EY) as an auditor and tax Consultant and later he joined KPMG where he grew his careers as an audit supervisor. He has extensive experience in providing external audits, internal audits, due diligence reviews internal controls system reviews and tax consulting services.
